Symphonic Power Metal band from France

Waverly Lies North was born in 2013, through the Mehay Brothers, Julien and Ed.

They soon included Jerome Pecquery, playing bass guitars, and Bruno Poidevin, on lead guitars. Then, Eric Pariche (Superscream) joined as the main singer, and in 2015 Bruno Poidevin was replaced by Antoine Petit-Gars, up until late 2016.

So, the journey began with the release of "A Soul In The Void" in 2014, followed by a record deal with Brennus Music. The album was reviewed in many French as well as international webzines.

Waverly Lies North took part in several festivals, and the Headbang Contest in 2015, in which they ended at the third place.

Now, the band gets back in the studio, lead by their new singer, Ani Arzumanyan, to produce their new effort, "Revelation Of The Sunstone", a 9 track concept album.

Mixing Metal and movie scores in their universe, Waverly Lies North weaves a world out of melodic and catchy songs. Those new songs encapsulate their natural questioning of the preternatural and the inherent limits of man.

Melodic Symphonic Power Metal

Caterina Nix, (born Caterina Torrealba in Santiago, Chile; Also known as Cati Torrealba) is a new coming singer chosen by Frontiers Records to release a solo album written and produced by famed guitarist, songwriter and producer Timo Tolkki (former Stratovarius composer and guitarist). The name of the album will be “Chaos Magic”, and will be released during 2015.   She was also appointed to sing on Timo Tolkki’s Avalon II, titled “Angels of the Apocalypse“, released May 2014, where she shares tracks with singers Simone Simons (Epica), Elize Ryd (Amaranth) and Floor Jansen (Nightwish), singing in two songs: “High Above Of Me” and “Angels of the Apocalypse”. Caterina’s interest in singing and in music started at an early age, joining several rock bands since her adolescence. She has soprano vocal range and has received both classical and pop singing training. However, she began gaining notoriety when she and her former band Aghonya released their first album “Oxygen”, in 2008, in which she wrote all lyrics and vocal lines. Although the record was released independently, the band and Caterina garnered critical acclaim, which led to opening for bands like After Forever, Edguy and Within Temptation. In addition, Caterina has a Law Degree and currently works as an attorney specializing in liability cases.
